Lukhanyo ‘Boepa’ Vokozela set for SA Rugby camp

With the 2020 school rugby season around the corner in South Africa, it’s time for one of our senior school-age athletes to link up again with the national set up.

Lukhanyo ‘Boepa’ Vokozela will take part in the SARU Under 18 Elite Player Development Camp in Stellenbosch from Thursday 27 February – Sunday 1 March.

Our 18-year-old hooker, who is in his final year at Rondebosch Boys’ High School in Cape Town, will join the best U18 players in South Africa for the four-day camp.

Boepa’s selection comes after making two appearances for the SA Schools A side in international fixtures against Wales and Argentina in 2019.

He was also part of the Craven Week-winning Western Province side that beat the Bulls in Bloemfontein.

Speaking of Western Province, we also have three U16 boys – Ilitha ‘Mister’ Ntinini, Akha Mjawule and Ridhau Bey – in the Grant Khomo Week training squad throughout pre-season.
