Connect Athletes In Action: 26-27 April

Where to catch our rugby players this weekend.

Our athletes are back in rugby action this weekend with most of them fresh from a break over the Easter holidays. Here’s where you can watch our youngsters in Cape Town and beyond.

Maties vs Union Milnerton Under 20s

Our post-school apprentices continue their season with Union Milnerton as they head out to Stellenbosch on Friday night for a game under the lights.

Kick off against Maties is at 19:00 in the Winelands.

SACS vs DF Malan

Our crew of SACS scholarship rugby players are back in action on Saturday, with most of them having had a fortnight without a fixture.

Check out Akha Mjawule, Aya Machuli and Ilitha ‘Mister’ Ntinini playing for the Under 15A side against DF Malan from 10:15.

Niche Koopman will also be up bright and early to kick off at 9:05 with his U14A team.

Rondebosch Boys vs Brackenfell

It’s another home game for our pair of Rondebosch Boys’ High School front row players, with Lukhanyo ‘Boepa’ Vokozela and Lamla Nunu taking on Brackenfell this Saturday.

The First XV fixture kicks off at 12:15 in the southern suburbs.

Also in action…

As if that weren’t enough, our leading senior athlete Sesethu Mtshazi plays for Busy Bee RFC against Dolphins this weekend.

Ridhau Bey plays for Wynberg Boys’ High against Grey High from Port Elizabeth, while we’ll also have a bundle of young athletes taking the field for Jan van Riebeeck High School against Melkbosstrand.
