The rugby season continues around Cape Town this weekend, with several of our senior and school-age athletes taking the field.
Rondebosch Boys’ High vs Parel Vallei
Our front row pair at Rondebosch Boys’ High School, Lukhanyo ‘Boepa’ Vokozela and Lamla Nunu, are fresh from victory over rivals Wynberg Boys’ High last Saturday.
This week they tackle Parel Vallei in Cape Town’s southern suburbs, with the First XV match kicking off at 12:30.
SACS vs Brackenfell
Brackenfell are the opposition for our SACS scholarship athletes, who have another round of home fixtures this weekend.
Aya Machuli, Akha Mjawule and Ilitha ‘Mister’ Ntinini are in action with the Under 15A side at 9.35, with Niche Koopman up bright and early again for his U14A match at 9.00.
Also in action…
Sese Mtshazi will play for Busy Bee RFC against Blue Jets at Langa Stadium on Saturday.
We have a whole host of youngsters representing Jan van Riebeeck High School in Cape Town this Saturday, taking on Hamlets in Tamboerskloof at the foot of Table Mountain.
Our crop of apprentices at Burgundy High Performance Centre have the weekend off, with Union Milnerton U20s on a bye week.
