Connect Athletes In Action: 13 July

Where to catch our rugby players this weekend.

The focus is back on our younger athletes this week, with the school rugby season back underway after the midwinter break. Here are the details.

SACS vs Boland Landbou

Our bundle of athletes placed on scholarships at SACS school in Cape Town return to the fray when they play a set of home fixtures against Boland Landbou.

Aya Machuli, Akha Mjawule and Ilitha ‘Mister’ Ntinini kick off at 10:30 for the Under 15A side, with Niche Koopman playing for the U14A team at 9:25 and Eugene Solomons continuing his campaign in the senior ranks.

Paarl Gim vs Rondebosch

The intensity remains nice and high for our Rondebosch Boys’ High School pair, as Lukhanyo ‘Boepa’ Vokozela and Lamla Nunu return from Craven Week duty with Western Province with a trip to face Paarl Gimnasium on Saturday.

The First XV match kicks off at 12:10.

Union Milnerton U20s vs Villager’s

Our first group of coaching apprentices at Burgundy High Performance Centre return to home turf this Saturday afternoon, as they take on Villager’s for Union Milnerton at Theo Marais Park.

Also in action…

Ridhau Bey is in action for the Wynberg Boys’ High School U15A side at home to Paul Roos on Saturday morning.

We also have a whole host of our non-high school scholarship athletes back in the game, thanks to our friends at Jan van Riebeeck High School, as they play a full set of fixtures against JG Meiring in Cape Town.
