Connect stars make their debuts for Rondebosch & SACS!

Congratulations to our high performance athletes, Boepa, Lamla, Mister, Aya and Akha on making their league debuts for their new schools!

Our youngsters began their first campaign at the highest level of rugby in the region with games for Rondebosch Boys’ High and SACS against Wynberg Boys’ High and the mighty Paul Roos in Stellenbosch on Saturday.

All five have made huge strides over the last few years

We’ve come a long way together and can’t wait to support the boys as they continue their journeys, on and off the rugby field.

Thank you to our friends at SACS and Rondebosch in Cape Town for working with us in making this exciting step a reality.

All of this wouldn’t be possible without the support of our athlete sponsors.

Lamla and Boepa are both supported in our academy by Timbercity’s Woodstock branch in Cape Town.

Mister has the backing of leading legal eagles Bowmans, while Aya is sponsored by the Daily Maverick and Akha has a helping hand from a mystery private donor.

All of this is part of our athlete sponsorship scheme.

And the good news is we have plenty more athletes for you or your business to help on their way to adulthood!

Get in touch by dropping Max a line right here for more information on how to get involved.

Connect is a registered non-profit company and can issue a Section 18(A) tax clearance certificate for your donation.

We have athletes all over Cape Town and beyond

Our fab five aren’t alone in blazing a trail across Western Province – we have athletes attending schools and playing their rugby all over the place.

We’ll keep you posted with their progress throughout the 2018 season.

We’d love for you to sponsor one of our high performance athletes, or make a direct donation to support the work that we do.
